Coconut Products

Coconut is one of the major plantation crops of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is reputed as one of the foremost exporters of coconut based products. Produced from freshly harvested coconuts, our coconut based products have consistent demand in international markets. Our coconut based products include desiccated coconut and coco fibre that is manufactured through the traditional "drum" extraction method, to surpass international quality standards.

Desiccated Coconut

Desiccated coconut (DC) is produced from the fleshy kernel of the coconut, which is dehydrated to retain its full natural flavour. Desiccated coconut is a 100% natural product. Its production process is closely monitored by our certified partners based in Vietnam and Indonesia. The finished products conform to the highest international standards.

Coco Fibre

Coco fibre is derived from the husk of the coconut. After a process of retting in water, the coco fibre is separated from the husks and hackled and combed into clean bristles of varied lengths. Being a natural bio-degradable product, this grade of fibre is in high demand in the brush/broom making industry worldwide. The different grades of coco fibre exported by the Company are hackled, waxed, dyed/bleached and cut to individual buyer’s requirements.
